BUSKOWITZ ENERGY WINS AT SOLAR WEEK PHILIPPINES LEADERSHIP AWARDS 2024
Buskowitz Energy Inc. is honored to be recognized at the 2024 Solar Week Philippines Leadership Award that was held in Marquis Event Place last October 16, 2024. Solar Quarter celebrates solar companies that contribute to society and the environment for their efforts to create a sustainable future for everyone.
Buskowitz Energy Inc. (BEI) took home the following:
- Solar Company of the Year (EPC: Rooftop)
Buskowitz Energy continues to expand its presence in the Philippines with 84 MWp in its portfolio and a goal of reaching 1 GW over the next 10 years. This year, Buskowitz Energy secured $36M in debt financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Philippine National Bank (PNB), and raised equity of up to $100M from the APAC Sustainable Infrastructure Fund (A-SIF) managed by Patrizia SE and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Aside from helping Buskowitz’s solar energy projects, these investments contribute significantly to the Philippines’ renewable energy goals.
- Best Solar Project of the Year (Commercial & Industrial)
Buskowitz Energy bagged the Best Solar Project of the Year award for its 2.9 MWp solar installation at Coca-Cola’s Sta. Rosa plant. This achievement highlights the company’s expertise in delivering large-scale, sustainable energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients. In addition to the Coca-Cola project, Buskowitz Energy has expanded its portfolio by providing solar installations for major clients such as SM Prime and Unilab. Through these, BEI is driving innovation through renewable energy solutions: reducing carbon footprints, and setting a standard for environmental responsibility in the industry.
- Best O&M Team of the Year
This recognition highlights the team’s exceptional work in operations and maintenance, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability in solar energy projects. Our engineers manage the 25MWp operational assets while simultaneously planning and coordinating the upcoming installations to come. Their commitment to excellence continues to drive the company’s success in delivering sustainable energy solutions across the Philippines.
- Woman Leader of the Year
One of the company’s management members, Ms. Anna Patricia M. Pastor, the Vice President for Solar Operations, won the Grand Master Awards Woman Leader of the Year. With over eight years of experience in the solar rooftop industry, her dedication to sustainable energy made a significant impact by playing a pivotal role in executing major projects for clients. Her leadership ensured that each project met its strategic objectives, adhered to industry standards, and was delivered on time.
